Many people ask me what I am doing at eBay (as a service designer)? Service? Designer?

I understand it's a common question that no service designers can avoid. Service design feels like a myth, but here at the eBay GCX (Global Customer Experience) Service Design Studio team, we are uncovering it.

As service designers, we are strong advocators for our customers and employees. It’s very cool ... but so what? What does it mean to the business? We should be able to answer the question.
